Chemical Biology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry
We use novel organic chemistry and chemical biology tools to solve problems in pharmacology, cell biology, and medicinal therapy.
Our lab members have diverse backgrounds in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences and biology, and work together to transition our new molecules and techniques across the traditional divides between these areas. Researchers will find a flexible and interdisciplinary environment to master new skills in organic synthesis, cell biology, biochemistry, microscopy, photochemistry, and in vivo biology.
the Thorn-Seshold research group (May 2017)
We are an independent research group established in 2016 under the aegis of Prof. Klaus T. Wanner.
