Research

Ultrathin, lightweight, robust and economical to manufacture: these key features distinguish organic and printed electronics from traditional semiconductor technologies. The Ameri Lab aims at developing emerging solution-processed optoelectronic devices in terms of their fundamentals, performance, and stability.

In particular, we focus on:

  • Optoelectronics based on perovskite, organic, and organic-inorganic hybrid material systems

  • Novel functional materials for energy and optoelectronics application

  • Charge carrier dynamics and recombination mechanisms

  • Degradation mechanisms of organic and perovskite based devices

  • Nanomorphology study and in-situ structural characterzation

  • Fundamental study of Nanomaterials (organic colloidal NPs and Perovskite NCs)
